Montmartre is a hill (Butte Montmartre) is 130 meters high, giving a name to the surrounding area, north of Paris in the 18th arrondissement, a part of the Right Bank. Montmartre is primarily known for the white dome of Sacre Coeur Basilica on the top and as a nightclub district.
